Why we do all this

I found out today that my aunt died. She was as much a mother to me as my mother was. It’s a loss.

If you have loved ones, let ‘em know you love ‘em. If you have friends, let them know you care.

As you go about your efforts to make pixels light up on screens in patterns that sometimes represent letters and numbers, remember why we all do this.

It’s to serve human flourishing. We are in service to our fellow human beings in what we do.

Thank you for reading these missives. I wish you all the best, and we’ll see you again on Monday.
