The board game that models software development

There’s this card game called “The Mind.”

Have you ever played it? I played it for the first time this evening at a family gathering.

There are 100 cards numbered from 1 to 100.

In the first round, each player receives one card, in the second round two, and so forth, up to 8 rounds.

Everyone is on the same team.

The team’s job is to place the cards on the table in ascending order.

You don’t see your teammates’ cards, and you’re not allowed to speak to one another.

Let me know if this sounds like how you’ve experienced software development efforts.
