Near the beginning of Avengers: Endgame, what remains of our super heroes are talking about tracking Thanos down. Captain Marvel, who wasn’t present in Infinity War, is asked by Rhodes where she was during all of that. They could have used her.
She answers with the subject line of this email.
Captain Marvel’s powers are fairly over-the-top. She appears indestructible, which makes for a potentially interesting story.
She can’t be defeated, but she can’t be everywhere either. So, can the bad guys do their evil shenanigans faster than Captain Marvel can stop them? It would have been neat to see that dynamic leaned into more.
But whatever the case, even in a fictional story with a very over-powered hero, bad things still happen because the hero can’t be everywhere doing everything all at once.
Heroes don’t scale
What does scale is effective management and leveling up your team members.
